Qamar moves from the University of Al Hekma, which was nationalized in the seventies, to the faculty of commerce and economy in Baghdad University. There, she gets to know Jamil, who belongs to a family that opposes the ruling authority. They dearly love each other in a story where events mix with politics, controlling the characters and their destiny. Jamil lives in a state of doubt and contradiction; tugged between the political world and not being a member in any political party at all. He still thinks about his paradoxical situation. He did not foresee conflict, but each choice competes with the other. Jamil continues his work, thinking that he is safely in the middle. His love story with Qamar is written on a rock known only to him. Months and years pass, and the story is still there.
