The novel revolves around the Syrian revolution from beginning until 2013, in a way that is not overwhelmed by events and daily details. The novel has no central hero. Every character of the novel can be considered a central hero. Its events run in a wide and varied geographical area: Belgium, Morocco, Switzerland, Morocco, America, Tunisia, Libya, Egypt, Israel, Syria, Lebanon, Turkey, Kurdistan, Iraq and ends in Belgium. The novel raises many questions of life and death, love and hate, questions of revolutions, dreams, disappointments and refractions, through addressing the experiences and conduct of human beings outside and within the Syrian reality, and the interrelated and complexities in it. The aim is to address the international and regional involvement in this tragedy, as well as to highlight the presence of foreign human interaction with the revolution and the Syrian tragedy.

Mounir left his home town Debdou in eastern Morocco, at the age of 20. He went to Paris where he graduated from the university, and worked as a professor of philosophy. He fought in the ranks of the French Socialist Party to embody the principles of the 1789 Revolution, and the dreams of the May 1968 uprising. In the City of Lights, he discovered the pleasures of the body and tested the emotions. And questions of worried culture.

After 50 years of absence, Mounir returned to his hometown on an exploratory visit. The hidden questions arose inside him about the identity, the French left faltered, his experience in marrying Catherine, and his complex relationship with his son Badr, who is confused and has a shattered identity…

Mounir appears to be a problematic hero who questions history, self and others in the context of a nightmare that undermines the certainty, institutions of society and the universality of human values…

“Groundnuts” is a novel about the practice of slavery in the Arab world, which dates back to a historical period that is still not erased from the minds of people. It condemns the world that conspired to kidnap a simple peaceful man and his granddaughter and enslave them, whether by local or foreign forces.

The events of the novel begin during the Mahdist War in Sudan when people rebelled against Great England until the Second World War. As the Sudanese man struggles for his dreams, new forms of slavery are formed which appear through a number of narrators who take turns on the story, highlighting the crisis of each individual from different perspectives and roles.

The suffering of the oppressed slaves propagates a great suffering for both the kidnappers and the masters, when the world of the greedy individuals expands, and the granddaughter Rahma presents her painful stories, to reveal that the kidnappers of the child are Arabs, then the Algerian Jews of French origin, and then the Europeans. Then a long journey begins with Rahma where she lost her freedom roaming the world.

“Khatun Baghdad” novel, by Shakir Noori is his ninth novel. It coincides with the 100th anniversary of the British occupation of Iraq in 1917. The novel revolves around the controversial character of Gertrude Bell, who entered Iraq with the British forces as an archaeologist, and then became the Eastern Secretary of the High Representative in Baghdad at the time, Percy Cox. She died in 1926 and was buried in the British cemetery in Bab al-Sharqi.

Said Khatibi begins his novel “Forty Years Waiting for Isabel”, with the biography of Swiss writer and traveler Isabelle Eberhardt (1904–1877) and ends the novel with it. Between the two points, events and personalities diverge and combine past and present.

From the very beginning, we see a close link between Isabel Eberhardt and Joseph Richard, the protagonist, who discovers a manuscript, finds it more than 40 years after her tragic departure, in the home of a former employee of the Municipal House in the city of Bouzada, in the south of Algiers, where she lived in intermittent periods, in which he is revealing a dark part of her bustling diary.

The hero/narrator, an artist and soldier who participated in the World War II, and then in the Algerian revolution against French colonialism, imagines a second life for the Swiss writer and traveler, so he revives her from her desert shrine to modern times, that her ghost accompanied him until 1992, the year that paved the way for Algeria to enter the black decade. From here, the novel poses one of the most critical questions, and tries to answer it: How did Algeria reach its bloody violence in the 1990s?

By re-reading Eberhart’s works, it is clear that there is a thread lost in the process, the texts we received were disjointed, her most prominent manuscript, which she wrote in her late life, was extracted from mud, following the flood of the “Yellow Valley”, southwest of Algiers, close to the border with Morocco, which led to her death, prompting researchers to try to rearrange and restore the manuscripts.

L’histoire de ce roman est axée sur la révolution syrienne, depuis son début jusqu’en 2013, sans sombrer dans les évènements ni dans les détails. Ce roman n’a pas de protagoniste central. Chaque personnage du livre peut être considérée comme protagoniste. Les évènements de ce roman se déroulent sur une immense superficie géographique diversifiée, à savoir : Belgique, Maroc, Amérique, Tunisie, Libye, Egypte, Israël, Syrie, Liban, Turquie, Kurdistan, l’Iraq et se terminent en Belgique. Le roman soulève de nombreuses questions sur la vie, la mort, l’amour et la haine. Sont posées également les questions des révolutions, des rêves, des déceptions et des déclins, et ce en se référant aux expériences et à la vie des humains à l’extérieur et à l’intérieur de la réalité syrienne, ainsi qu’aux enchevêtrements et imbrications de cette réalité. Le but de ce roman est d’aborder l’implication internationale et régionale dans cette tragédie, ainsi que de mettre en relief l’existence d’une sympathie humaine extérieure face à la révolution et la tragédie syrienne.

Munir, âgé de 20 ans, a quitté ((Debdou)), sa ville natale située dans l’est du Maroc, en vue de regagner Paris, où il était diplômé de l’université et avait travaillé comme professeur de philosophie. Là-bas, il se battait dans les rangs du Parti socialiste français dans le but de concrétiser les principes de la Révolution de 1789, ainsi que les rêves du soulèvement de mai 1968. Dans la Ville Lumière, il a découvert les plaisirs du corps et l’épreuve des émotions , ainsi que les questions inquiétantes de la culture.

Munir est retourné a sa ville après 50 ans d’absence natale pour une visite d’exploration. S’éveillèrent alors dans son for intérieur les questions somnolentes autour de l’identité, de la gauche française trébuchante, de son expérience de mariage avec Catherine et de sa relation compliquée avec son fils Badre, perplexe et d’une identité déchirée.

Munir apparaît comme un héros problématique qui interroge l’Histoire, le soi et l’autre dans le contexte d’un cauchemar qui sape les certitudes, les institutions de la communauté et l’universalité des valeurs humaines…

Fostaq Abid( Cacahudte) est un roman qui traite l’esclavage dans le monde arabe. Il retrace un moment historique récent qui demeure encore dans l’esprit des gens et condamne le monde qui a conspiré en faveur de l’asservissement de l’être humain simple et pacifique par les autorités locales ou extérieures.

Les évènements du roman débutent lors de la guerre des mahdistes au Soudan, lorsque le peuple s’est rebellé contre la Grande-Bretagne. Ils se poursuivent jusqu’à la Seconde Guerre mondiale. Tandis que le Soudanai luttait pour réaliser ses rêves, de nouvelles formes d’esclavage voyaient le jour

De la souffrance des esclaves opprimés émane un terrible supplice qui touche les kidnappeurs et les maîtres au fur et à mesure que le monde des profiteurs s’étend

Le roman passe en revue les contrastes, le noir face au blanc et la liberté face à l’esclavage.

« Khatoun Baghdad » est un roman de l’écrivain Shakir Noury. C’est le neuvième roman dans la liste de ses écrits romanesques. La publication de ce roman coïncide avec le centième anniversaire de l’occupation britannique de l’Iraq en 1917. Le roman est axé autour du personnage controversé de Gertrude Bell, entrée en Iraq avec les forces britanniques en tant que archéologue. Puis elle devint la secrétaire orientale de l’officier chargé des affaires politiques à Bagdag, Percy Cox. Elle décéda en 1926. Elle repose au cimetière britannique à Bagdag, à al-Bab Al-Charqî.

Dans son roman intitulé « Quarante ans dans l’attente d’Isabelle », publié en 2016 par la maison d’édition Manchourat Difaf, et celle d’Al-Ikhtilâf, Sa’îd Khatiby prends pour point de départ la biographie de l’écrivaine et globe-trotteuse suisse Isabelle Eberhardt (1877-1904) et termine son livre avec elle. Entre ces deux points se ramifient les évènements et les personnages entremêlant le passé et le présent.

Dès le début, nous constatons un lien étroit entre Isabelle Eberhardt et Josef Rinchard, protagoniste qui découvrit un manuscrit d’Isabelle quarante ans après sa mort tragique. Il le trouva au foyer d’un ex-employé de la municipalité de la ville de Bou Saâdâ dans le sud de l’Algérie, où elle a séjourné par intermittence. Dans ce manuscrit, elle révèle une partie sombre de son quotidien bruyant.

Le protagoniste / narrateur, qui fut artiste et soldat ayant participé à la Seconde Guerre mondiale, puis à la révolution algérienne contre l’occupation française, imagine une seconde vie de l’écrivaine et la globe-trotteuse suisse. Elle l’évoque de son tombeau désertique et la déplace à l’époque contemporaine. Son spectre à elle l’accompagne jusqu’en 1992, l’année qui préceda l’entrée de l’Algérie dans la décennie noire. A se sujet, le roman pose une des questions les plus critiques tout en essayant d’y répondre : Comment l’Algérie est-elle arrivée à ce point de la violence sanglante lors des années quatre-vingt-dix ?

La relecture des travaux d’Eberhardt — son journal et ses récits — dévoile qu’un détail a été omis dans sa biographie. Ses textes qui nous sont parvenus sont démantelés. Ses manuscrits les plus importants, qu’elle a écrits pendant la dernière partie de sa vie, furent repêchés des décombres des inondations d’oued ain -Safrâ’, dans le sud-est de l’Algérie, à proximité du Maroc, inondations qui entraînèrent sa mort. Ceci poussa les chercheurs à essayer de remettre en ordre ses manuscrits et à les restaurer car certains d’entre eux furent affectés par les inondations.

في القرن الخامس قبل الميلاد كان اليهود يتمتعون بالعيش في مصر، مثل أهلها، وفي جزيرة (إلفنتين) بنيل أسوان، كانت لهم معابدهم، وتجارتهم، وحياة تبدو في جوانب منها أرغد من حياة المصريين. لكن مع احتلال الفرس لمصر، نسوا حقوق الوطن الذي آواهم، ومالوا مع الغازي، وعاونوه ضد المواطنين الذين استوعبوهم اجتماعيا بأريحية، وأتاحوا أفقا رحبا لطموحهم الاقتصادي، وتقلبوا بناءهم المعابد، وإقامتهم شعائهم الدينية ببساطة تخلو من العنصرية، لكن تاريخ اليهود في الانقلاب على المجتمعات التي رحبت بهم عتيد، ومتجذر في جيناتهم.

(وطن الجيب الخلفي ) تتطرق لمنطقة بكر، لم يقربها الأدب من قبل، في تاريخ مصر القديم، وتتعرض للحظة فوضوية شائكة في تاريخها الحالي بعد ثورة يناير، لتكشف إحدى طرق تلاعب الصهيونية بحقائق التاريخ.

مغامرة سردية ضمن عمل درامي يرصد مرحلة مهمة من التاريخ المعاصر لبلد لم يذكر داخل الرواية بشكل صريح، لكن أحداث الرواية وطبيعتها السردية المتقنة، كفيلة بالإفصاح عن اسمه وبشكل جلي. هي إذاً، رواية تحاول دراسة التركيبة الشخصية الملتبسة المنبثقة من خراب الحروب والتقلبات الكارثية التي تعصف بالمجتمعات، شخصية ملتبسة الأفكار والطموحات، غرائبية التكوين والنزعات، لكنها تعيش بيننا بشكل(طبيعي) ولا تثير فينا الفضول أو الريبة، بل غالباً ما نميل إليها و(نحبها).

صديقي الحبيب قاتل، اسمه (زياد)، لقبوه بـ (مرتد)، هو الذي دفعني  إلى كتابة هذه الرواية علها تساعد غفرانه على إيجاد رفيق ما، عرضت فيها كل المذكرات الشخصية والرسائل التي اعتاد تدوينها بعد التحاقه بالخدمة العسكرية الإلزامية قبيل نشوب الحرب السورية بأشهر قليلة، حيث سرد رحلة فراره من قطعته العسكرية بحثاً عن الانتقام من أحد الضباط المتنمرين فيها، ثم اختياره الانضمام إلى كتائب المعارضة السلحة المتمركزة حول مدينتنا، لينتقل فيما بينها زاجا لنفسه في أخطر المهام السرية طامعا بطرد تهمة (الردة) التي ألصقت به، قبل أن يتحول إلى واحد من أبرز مقاتلي إحدى التنظيمات الإسلامية المتشددة والمصنفة تحت بند (الإرهاب).

تعرض الرواية من خلال شخصية بطلها المتقلقلة تقلبات المجتمع السوري بأكمله.

رواية تصنف ضمن الأدب البوليسي أو أدب الجريمة لكاتبها طه محمد الحيرش. تدور أحداثها الرئيسية حول شخصية دبلوماسية أمريكية، يتعرض منزل هذه الشخصية لعملية سطو مدبرة ومخطط لها بعناية. تعجز الشرطة المحلية عن القبض على الجناة، فيتم استدعاء أشهر محقق في العاصمة لفك لغز الجريمة وكشف هوية الفاعلين.

في شيخوخته، وبعد انتظار سنين، يفاجأ عيسى فراج برسالة من صديقه الذي جاهد معه طويلاً أثناء الثورة التحريرية الجزائية، وقد أضحى هذا الصديق وزيراً. الرسالة كانت ردا على طلبه المتواصل من أجل استخراج جثمان صديقهما الذي سقط في جرف عميق بعد استشهاده في إحدى المعارك. في تلك الأيام الفاصلة عن موعد الزيارة تعود الذاكرة بعيسى فراج إلى البدايات، إلى أيام شبابه حيث بداية تشكل وعيه بالأفكار التحريرية، وانضمامه إلى المقاومة ضد الاستعمار الفرنسي، بعد أن قضى أشهرا في سجن كافارولي بمدينة الجلفة، ولقائه بعباس الذي شكل جزءا من وعيه تجاه القضية الوطنية. مثلما تسرد الرواية الأيام الأولى من التحاقه بجيش التحرير، والمعارك الطويلة التي خاضها رفقة البقية من رفاقه، إلى أن استشهد عباس. ولكن عيسى بقي يحاول استعادة جثمانه من النسيان الذي غيب أجسادا وأفكارا كثيرة بعد استقلال البلاد.

أثناء حصار هولاكو وجيشه مدينة بغداد ووسط المعارك العنيفة، ينجح ثلاثة شبان عرب في نقل مكتبتها الشهيرة التي تحولت آنذاك نفائس الفكر العربي بعيدا عن الدمار، ويصلون بها إلى بابل القديمة حيث يخبئونها في مستودع مخفي عن الأنظار. ذات يوم وخلال تجوالهم في خرائب المدينة يعثرون على كرة معدنية هائلة تشبه المرآة داخل سرداب غامض. يحاول الشبان فك لغزها وأسرارها. ومع الوقت تنبثق من تلك الكرة قوة شريرة ماكرة تبدأ بالتأثير عليهم. ثم تنكشف لهم حقائق عجيبة عنها، فتلك القوة هي المسؤولة عن خراب بابل، وهي من يقف وراء هجوم هولاكو على بغداد بهدف الاستلاء على المكتبة وتدميرها.. فيدخلون معها في صراع مصيري. ويكون النصر حليفهم في النهاية بعد أن دفعوا حياتهم ثمنا لإنقاذ المكتبة. والعجيب أن تلك المعركة الخاطفة التي ظنوا أنها استغرقت ساعات قليلة، استمرت ألفا وخمسمائة سنة.
